Pinot Noir Conserve

Pinot Noir is a "light and luscious" red wine. The grape is the main grape used in much of Burgundy and has only recently been planted in Texas. Our grapes come from the Texas High Plains. Their color is cherry red to purple-red. Our conserve exhibits warm weather flavors that include earth, leather, vanilla and jam ... the fruit flavors taste like raspberry, strawberry, and plum. After a short age in a new oak barrel, the wine takes on a little oak character. We add just a touch of the grape concentrate to let the wine aroma show and present a light sweetness.
